Summary: Monthly plans renew automatically. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and service ordinarily continues through the paid billing period. Payments are not prorated after provisioning. If Astro Hosting cannot provision an accepted order, the payment is refunded in full.
1. Recurring monthly billing
Astro Hosting plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The checkout page displays the recurring price and billing frequency before you subscribe. Unless canceled, the subscription automatically renews each month using the payment method on file.
2. How to cancel
You may request cancellation at any time through your private Astro Hosting Discord ticket or by emailing [email protected] from the address associated with the subscription. Include the account email and server name. Astro Hosting may require reasonable verification before changing billing.
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period unless Astro Hosting confirms an earlier termination. To avoid another charge, submit the request before the next renewal date. Access and hosted data may be deleted after the paid service period ends, so download anything you need before termination.
3. Refunds after provisioning
Once a server has been provisioned and access has been provided, subscription payments are non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time, early cancellation, customer configuration errors, incompatible third-party mods or plugins, bans from a game or community, or failure to use the Service.
4. Failure to provision
If Astro Hosting accepts payment but cannot provision the purchased plan within a reasonable period because of capacity, compatibility, or an Astro Hosting error, the affected payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
5. Outages and service problems
Before requesting a refund, give Astro Hosting a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the problem. Temporary outages, planned maintenance, upstream failures, attacks, or beta limitations do not automatically qualify for a refund. Astro Hosting may offer a service credit or refund when it determines that circumstances warrant one.
6. Policy violations and chargebacks
Services suspended or terminated for violating the Terms or Acceptable Use Policy are generally not eligible for a refund, except where required by law. Contact [email protected] before initiating a payment dispute so there is an opportunity to resolve the issue.
7. Refund timing and consumer rights
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Stripe and the customer's financial institution control final processing time. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under Massachusetts or other applicable consumer-protection law.
